喷油嘴的维护有如下要点：进入喷油嘴的柴油的清洁，严格使用符合规定标准的燃油，并须沉淀过滤48h以上，以减少针阀偶件的磨损，防止喷孔堵塞，避免针阀卡涩或烧蚀针阀；及时检查调整喷油压力和雾化质量，合适的雾化锥角及正确的喷油提前角；及时清理积碳并注意不得碰伤喷孔和各密封面；积碳清除后，一般可用机油或研磨膏对密封锥面进行互研，而后清洗，再装复调试，注意偶件要成对安装，不可互换；使用中要避免喷油嘴过热而影响其正常工作，喷油嘴过热时，会使喷油嘴针阀工作失常，喷孔和轴针积碳，甚至使针阀咬死。

2.喷油嘴的拆装注意事项

喷油嘴的拆装有事项：喷油嘴的拆装按一定顺序，并使用工具，不许敲打和随意拆装；维修与养护时应将喷油嘴放置在干净地方，以免机械杂质侵入；不要磕碰以免变形；的针阀和喷嘴应成对放置，不得互换装错；装配时做到油净、手净、场地净、工具容器净，喷油嘴各部件洗净擦干后，装配记号对准才能装复。总成件装机之前将缸盖上的座孔洗净擦干；安装时对压紧喷油嘴壳体的螺母拧紧用力均匀；并按要求装妥回油管。

3.喷油嘴的检查和调整

喷油嘴调整时,从缸盖拆下后，应装在专门试验台上进行。喷油试验台的油箱、输油管等要清洗干净，油箱内须加注经滤清过的高清洁度柴油，场地保持清洁。检查喷油嘴的开启压力时，先用手泵将油压增至15.7×103kPa 后，以每分钟约 10 次的速度均匀地掀动手泵直至达到 18.5×103kPa 开始喷油，此时喷油嘴不得有渗漏现象，喷孔允许有微量潮湿，但不得有滴油现象，同一台发动机各喷油嘴喷油压力差异不得超过250kPa。

若压力不符合规定，可用螺丝刀转动喷油调压螺杆进行调整，旋入螺杆，喷油开启压力便提高，反之妥后将锁紧螺母拧紧，再重复进行一次校试，直至达到规定的油嘴开启压力为宜。以每分钟 60 次的速度揿动手泵时，油雾应均细，各油孔雾束中的油粒应均匀分布，长短一致，不得有肉眼看得见的油滴飞溅现象；燃油切断及时，并有清脆的声响。

喷油嘴的检查和调整事项如下:喷油嘴工作不正常，通常导致喷油嘴偶件工作不好，所以除了逐个检查喷油嘴其他零件的使用情况外，要对喷油嘴偶件着重检修。喷油嘴偶件配合面及针阀端面应色泽光亮，无损伤、无锈蚀、针阀和针阀体密封锥面应明亮、无麻点、无刻痕。

针阀和针阀体是配对研磨加工而成不能互换，所以在清洗时，不能混放，要成对分别清洗；当针阀卡死在针阀体中时应予更换。针阀和针阀体的积碳只能用工具来剔除，但需小心，不要碰伤配合面。用喷油器试验器（见图3）检查各喷油器的密封性、喷油压力和喷油质量。
