在另外一个项目中，新加坡科技研究局和GE计划开发亚洲最普遍的肝癌——肝细胞癌的新型成像标记技术。该项目将整合GE在分子诊断技术以及新加坡科技研究局生物医疗成像和临床前模式开发的经验，从而开发创新的、拥有自主产权的平台，帮助提前了解不同病人肝细胞癌症的独特特征。这样可以确诊不同类型的癌症，同时为不同的癌症病人量身定制治疗方案。该项目包括一系列的医疗诊断技术，从成像到适用于亚洲人口的肝细胞癌症的分子病理学生物技术。基于与当地医院的良好伙伴关系，该项目的成功将导致更快更准确的癌症诊断，给予病人更有针对性、更有效的癌症治疗。
